While his contract makes it so that the Wiz will not get anything of value for him, I firmly believe there are situations where he can still be a valuable contributor on a team for a long time, and even become a beloved player to a franchise (see Bobby Portis in MIL, Naz Reid MIN, Clarkson UTA, Monk SAC), he just needs the right situation. What teams could you see fulfilling that?
He’s probably best as a 6th man since he’s a bad defender. Would need a team that’s already deep at guard and has good POA defenders. Celtics and OKC come to mind but I doubt they’d be interested. Keeping with the good defense theme, maybe a team that needs shooting and self creation at the guard spot. I think that makes the Magic the best fit
