I joined ESPN Bet and got the 4 $50 free bets they give all new users and don’t sports bet very often, so I have no clue what to use them on and they expire today.
Anyone have any strong opinions on long-term NBA bets they like right now? Looking primarily for end of season awards, or “Team to Make/Miss Playoffs” odds that have value. Hell, if you can talk me into a Parlay for games tonight, I’ll ride with you.
Fuck your parlays
Don’t get crazy just bet Jokic MVP
All in on Pistons to win championship.
I remember last year around this time when I was starting to feel pretty convinced that Zion was unstoppable, the Pels were headed for a deep playoff run and the Lakers were going to ship them a really good draft pick… Lots can change between now and the end of the season.
You should pick at least one bet that’s got super low odds of hitting but… if you’re right, you’ll win a crazy amount… I don’t know what betting odds are right now, but… Something that’s A real lotto ticket… Like… Portland Trail Blazers center Duop Reath winning the scoring title and/or getting his name used in a star wars movie…
You might have luck betting the over on points for in season tournament games. Head to Head is the first tie breaker, but after that its all about point differential, so you might see teams really try to run up the score in some of these games.
To summarize KD, fuck your parlays
I haven’t used ESPN bet, but I’d bet that you can’t cash out if you hit. Those free bets are usually just for credits. They’re designed to get you in and once you gamble away the credits then you have to spend real money.
I know FanDuel and DraftKings do this. I had a friend hit a $200 win on a free sign-up bet, but that money can’t be withdrawn and can only be put towards other bets. It’s scummy as fuck.
Chet for Rookie of the Year and SGA for MVP would be my pick.
With the other 2. Maybe take a freebie like Nuggets to repeat and then an upside pick like the Wolves to win the west?
