LeBron James has a true shooting of 67.1%, second highest in the league. Curry has 68.5%.

LeBron turns 39 in a month. He leads the league in 4th quarter points per game and 4th quarter plus minus.

Curry turns 36 in a few months, he is averaging 30/5/4 on 48/45/93 splits.

They are both the backbone of their team. LeBron is leading the Lakers in points, assists, field goal percentage and plus minus. He is second in rebounds, blocks, steals and 3 point percentage. Curry is leading the Warriors in points, Klay is second with just 14.4 ppg with 40/34/88 splits.

The old guard is still at the top of the league. LeBron, Curry and KD are all top 10 still, their impact still undeniable. These 3 might just average 20+ ppg into their 40s. Crazy to think how a guy known for his shitty ankles, a guy known for his lanky frame and a guy best known for athleticism have a case for the 3 players with the best longevity.

People just take it for granted that we’re getting the equivalent of Larry Bird and Magic staying healthy throughout the 90s, plus Dr. J still be healthy and nearly prime level in that era too. That’s what getting Curry and Durant still looking like they’re in their prime plus Lebron after two full decades still getting MVP conversations is like. It’s insane and I don’t newer fans really have a baseline to compare it to, to recognize how lucky it is we still get to see these guys playing at such a high level.
