I have an idea for a kitchen appliance. How do I go about turning it into a real product?

  • Should I hire a mechanical engineer and get a CAD design out?
  • What about the electrical components? Do I need to hire an electrical engineer? Should they work together or separately?
  • Should a patent be filed during development or only after the product is ready?

I can go on and on. I think it’d be easier for me to hire a company that provides end-to-end services. How do I find these in the US and/or China?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is just the recent years antreprenorial bull… yeah you should hire but it requires more money than a working stiff cand conjure. If you don t know the first thing about anything you can’t do something. Ideas are not enough. Anyone can be a “manager”. Are you a milionaire tho? Like everyone else, you wouldn t be on a board for fake/ wannabe antrepreneurs. And to avoid hypocricy i’m out, reddit is only good for porn, i was on the ios sub trying to find a free vpn mase by a so called bs antrepreneur and only saw ads for nord vpn. The internet is not a place to get relevant information anymore. If you’re not self suficient stick to school and that is the only good advice you re gonna get here. Antrepreneurship is not something you do when you don t have any other idea or hate your job and owning a coffee shops pays less than an it job.
