The Minnesota Timberwolves are off to their best start in franchise history.
In the 01-02 season, they also started 10-3 but then dropped to 10-4.
Folks, the Minnesota Timberwolves are a legitimate Title Contender and Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns are one of the best duos in the entire NBA
Gobert is 31 and Conley is 36. Conley might be replaceable (though that is always easier said than done), but Gobert really isn’t.
They’re very good, but not sure about their dynasty potential considering two of their key players are on the wrong side of 30.
Gobert and Conley open a championship window right now. As they age, Ant, Jaden and Naz start their peak (and KAT will still be late prime) and they have been given playoff experience from the beginning thanks to the trades. Rudy’s game will age well and even if he moves to a bench role later, he will still be there for the second half of the decade long championship window. Keeping Ant et al around long term is a sneaky bonus to the trade that makes them contenders right now
