Not a lot of things disappoint me in life but this thing sure did. I showed her my portfolio, everything was great I agreed to do the wedding for 400$ and asked 150 as an advance to book me. Pre wedding is in one week , she ghosted me no response, called her she cut the call. Is it generally this tough getting clients

    Honey, you dodged a bullet

    A wedding for 400$ - thatcs not the kind of client you would want. The 400$ is why they bailed on you, that just screams to me “I don’t value your time, your skill, my cousin can do it for free”

        I live in Europe. OP used the $ sign, it’s okay to assume they are in country where wedding photography prices are similar and even in India, lavish weddings are held.

          No, it’s not.
          North Americans and Europeans need to stop thinking they’re the center of the world and everybody lives there.
          USD$ is used for American dollars
          $ is used for money
