After reddit nba questioned if we should be worried about him after 4/82 games slow start, Paolo has shot the ball with some good efficiency and very solid defense.

The 3pt % is likely to drop, but even @ 35% it’s a weapon for a guy with Paolo’s bag. The ft shooting is likely to rise somewhat too as he shot 73.8% as a rook.

Very impressed as he and Franz lead the magic to a 10-5 record.

Paolo was clowned that one month he went like 1/33 but didn’t he have a wrist/elbow injury at that time?

His ft% THOUGH. For how often he gets to the line he’s giving up a few ppg.

Yeah, it’s really something I hope is temporary to start the season. We lead the league in FT attempts, so he’ll get a lot of chances to get in rhythm.

It’s wild how Paolo is suddenly draining threes and Franz is laying bricks from the same distance.

Paolo ballin’ out now. No more slow starts, y’all can chill. His shot will prolly go down a bit but hey 35% is still decent for a guy like him with mad skills. And his free throws gonna get better too, rookie numbers don’t lie ya know? Magic makin moves thanks to Franz and Paolo ✊🏼

Nah man, he’s just having a little slump. Happens to the best of us, ya know? But glad to see him picking it up and showing off his skills on D too. Keep killing it dude 👊

Orlando has a nice thing going on there, even guys like Cole are playing well as a 6th man. I’d keep this core and see where it can take them before making any trades.

I’ve seen a lot of Magic fans getting impatient with the roster construction, but i still think it’s a roster that will be very flexible for trades in the future and is setup for that, adding or trading for the missing pieces is really something you have to nail at exactly the right time

For a #1 overall pick and all the hype he got, this is still pretty underwhelming. The shooting isn’t real either, barely takes any 3’s

The numbers look a lot better when you take out the first 4 games when he was clearly off. At the end of the day, he’s the #1 option on a 10-5 Magic team with an elite defense that is down it’s starting C and PG. He’s clearly a winning player who is only going to get better.

Why is slow start in quotes as if the former first oompa loompa said it in regards to an accusation?

Paolo did have a slow start but is balling right now.
