Do you believe the OKC Thunder should make a major trade by the deadline? If you believe so, who? If not, why?

They have the assets to bring anybody. Should they go for a guy like Caruso/Levine, or potentially Siakam/Anunoby?

Or should they stick with Cason Wallace at the 5? What do you think?

No. There are no big fish seemingly available, and OKC still has to take a look at what they have in their own young guys.

Players like Siakam, Levine, Anunoby, Derozan should go to the likes of Philly, Lakers etc. teams that are just missing one more piece.

I would trade away the child molester for picks and start Wallace. Stay young and keep drafting

No. They are gonna have to take their lumps in the playoffs regardless of who they add. One series win would be a great accomplishment. Anything more than that is asking a bit much even if they were to add a siakam or Anunoby or whoever

No need to outside of a potential replacement for Giddey. They have time on their side. Ride the season out and see how the core of SGA, Chet, and J-Dub play an 82 game regular season together and how they perform in the playoffs and then make trades to adjust for any deficiencies they may have.

Giddey is the most obvious guy to use as a piece for a larger trade, but… yeah.

I think they should make a play for Lauri. Ainge would love some draft picks, they have the Bertans contract which matches Lauris salary. Lauri is a great front court player for the team

This is probably the Thunder fandom’s dream player, but I just can’t see Ainge letting Markkanen go. The Jazz already got 7 firsts and 3 swaps from the Mitchell and Gobert trades. Will getting even more really move the needle that much? I thought OKC should try to get Lauri and Olynyk, but I just can’t see Utah letting Lauri go.

Ainge loves draft picks, it’s possible. Cavs and wolves picks may be just mid. Thunder have some that could be valuable
