Its been April since I came back.

I always had a good time there, culture, people, food, nature, short term friends and some dating

Here I have high rent, no long term friends, non existant dating, it makes me always think about booking a ticket back, including all my friends saying they will go

Anyone have a similiar feeling?

sure thailand is nice, but it’s no europe/north america/australia where quality of life is much better and you fit in culturally.

There is no standard measure of quality of life. It’s up to each person to decide on the things that make them happy.

agreed - i should have phrased that better. developed countries offer more comforts ,but yes it’s up to each person to decide what they value.
