As a team, [the] Minnesota [Timberwolves] organization, we want to win a championship. After that, we’ll figure that out," Edwards said

He’d have to declare for the draft and go undrafted to be a UDFA free to sign anywhere right?

I figure if he was serious about transitioning it might be worth a 7th rounder just for the Vikings or whatever team to sell tickets and jerseys lmao, and maybe he’d be able to get good.

Kid could make a hell of a tight end lol

I remember thinking I had the dark horse of the century picking up Haynes in fantasy. I really thought it would translate better

It kinda did translate. dude has no experience and was a serviceable player. Problem is he waa admittedly lazy about learning the NFL rules. Which is why he quit when they got a new coach and playbook. But whatever he’s in jail for rape so fuck the hayne plane

Both mate, punters and kickers come from AFL, running backs or returners come from NRL generally

The only people who believe football’s skill threshold is above basic athleticism are people who either a) didn’t play football or b) sucked ass

I always thought hitting hurt more lol, I’d rather run the ball outside and lower a shoulder than be the guy standing there waiting to get the shoulder haha. Loved playing running back, hated playing safety

Do you really think so? Not saying Ant isn’t a tremendous athlete but I always thought NFL players had to memorize shit loads of routes and play calls and stuff, seems like a lot.

The route tree is simple, there are only so many ways to run an out or a flag or whatever.

What’s hard is being in the huddle and being told spider 2 3 X corner and having 2 seconds to remember your route in that moment and get to the right spot.

Then you add in hot reads and adjustments for that play and yes it gets very complex.

My assumption I guess was that compared to the 90’s when guys were doing multiple sports, football has become increasingly complex and the amount of memorization required is probably too much for any athlete to compete in other sports simultaneously, especially one as involved as NBA basketball.

Hence the, “maybe he’d be able to get good”

Lot of work ahead if he really wanted to make the switch
