Hi guys,
Just getting into watches I have a couple cheaper watches now looking to buy something a little more expensive.
What would you guys buy with £4k (I don’t need to spend it all), happy with preowned or new.
I’m thinking about a light dial maybe white or champagne but pretty open to any suggestions.
I quite like;
-Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra -Grand Seiko Heritage
Any suggestions would be appreciated🫡
- Black Bay 58
- Pre-owned Grand Seiko snowflake
Thank you
Both the GS and the Omega are great options !!! i would also look at Baume & Mercier Clifton Baumatic. More of a dress watch but with an in house cosc certified mechanism with 5 days of power reserve.
To be honest i think i would go for the GS since i really love that watch !!! But i dont think you can go wrong with any of these choices.
Thank you🫡,
Leaning towards the GS thank you
Look into some straps for it to mix up the vibe since it’s your first watch. I got some from Delugs and it has helped me be more patient. I can get a different feel from different straps and wait for another high quality watch instead of buying a bunch of mid-tier watches to feel that rush again.
I’d go for a pre-owned Rolex Air King
Definitely on my list to try on before I buy anything thank you
Maybe a nice Nomos or Mühle Glashütte.
If this is not for you then I personally would go for Grand Seiko. Omega and Rolex and Tudor and … are great watches but for my taste much to „common“ - if watches with this price tag could described as common at all.
I can highly recommend german watches like Hanhart, Sinn and Junghans. Good quality.
