Looking for something like this but more affordable (but good quality)
Don’t know much about analogue watches but figured now is a good time to be looking because of Black Friday deals.
My budget is up to £100
Google Cartier Tank, there are literally thousands of watches inspired by that design including loads of 1980s quartz Japanese watches.
Rectangle or “tank style”
Style is tank.
Also, note that Cainté is a Denmark-based jewelry/fashion brand; it has no reputation to speak of when it comes to watches (which are technically jewelry, but mechanical/functional jewelry and so markedly different when compared to rings/necklaces/other adornments). Therefore, I would advise staying away from their watches even if they’re in your budget.
Looking up “Seiko tank” on Amazon yields a number of good results within your budget.
Cainte is actually building a solid/decent name in the watch making realm, not saying their better than seiko that would be foolish. But not “no reputation”.
People commonly refer to this as a tank, because it’s rectangular, and the sides are abstractly reminiscent of tank treads.
