Not sure you could call it a crowd at this point. “Smattering or basketball masochists” maybe. Grizzlies injury situation is so grim right now.

Aight calm down, I was at the game and most people had left by this point. Starters got pulled like 2-3 minutes before this for the Grizz

Yeah no shit they had left. I’m not saying that was the attendance at the start of the first quarter, hence the part where I said “at this point,” a phrase which means “at the time of.” People tend to leave en masse when the game gets out of hand in favor of the away team, which happens a lot when a team is having grim season like Memphis.

Ja is back soon. They’ll still be devastated by injuries but he can steer them back on track to maybe a 6 seed or play in spot.

I wouldn’t bet a single dollar that the Grizzlies even make it to the play-in this year. 3-12 start is bad, and if its 20 (ish) losses when Morant comes back the season is over.

Oh yeah I guess it’s only ten more games until Ja is back, time flies. I’m less confident they can get even to a play-in spot because in 46 games last year without Steven Adams they were only 25-21 including the playoffs, and the top 11 teams in the West right now all look relatively competitive. I think Adams was just hugely important as a screen setter and especially offensive rebounder on a team that just does not shoot well. But as a neutral I’m excited to just see better basketball from them with Ja.

being offended by this is so lame…the whole culture of not shooting on this possession is lame.

It matters for the in-season tournament, where point differential counts. But yeah, otherwise Booker wouldn’t have played the last five minutes or so.

Was just the end of the game and they were down a lot. Probably was at like 70% capacity if I had to guess (was there)

Down a ton with a few seconds left on a holiday weekend? I would’ve left too. Those spots in the lower bowl are always pricey, generally around 150 to 200 and up depending on the game. Had a friend list theirs for 175 today. Forum is a fun place to see a good game though, it gets loud.

“The Crowd don’t understand”. Got me laughing, it’s like war of the worlds type shit. With people not understanding there wasn’t actually a UFO invasion.
