I wouldn’t bet a single dollar that the Grizzlies even make it to the play-in this year. 3-12 start is bad, and if its 20 (ish) losses when Morant comes back the season is over.
Oh yeah I guess it’s only ten more games until Ja is back, time flies. I’m less confident they can get even to a play-in spot because in 46 games last year without Steven Adams they were only 25-21 including the playoffs, and the top 11 teams in the West right now all look relatively competitive. I think Adams was just hugely important as a screen setter and especially offensive rebounder on a team that just does not shoot well. But as a neutral I’m excited to just see better basketball from them with Ja.
Yeah no shit they had left. I’m not saying that was the attendance at the start of the first quarter, hence the part where I said “at this point,” a phrase which means “at the time of.” People tend to leave en masse when the game gets out of hand in favor of the away team, which happens a lot when a team is having grim season like Memphis.
Not sure you could call it a crowd at this point. “Smattering or basketball masochists” maybe. Grizzlies injury situation is so grim right now.
Ja is back soon. They’ll still be devastated by injuries but he can steer them back on track to maybe a 6 seed or play in spot.

Aight calm down, I was at the game and most people had left by this point. Starters got pulled like 2-3 minutes before this for the Grizz

PTSD from all the Grizzlies should get moved back to Vancouver or relocated garbage
Fair enough lol, I don’t want your team moved!
