Feels like the answer is never someone who already has one so it’s between guys like Tatum/Luka/Embiid/Booker/SGA

Out of that group I’d probably go with Tatum because of how stacked the Celtics are overall and how many near misses they’ve had(could also see Embiid but I don’t think anyone truly sees the Sixers roster as championship caliber or actually expects them to win this year)

Nobody’s gonna say Butler & Bam but it should be them. Returning EC champs, were the 1 seed the previous year, Butlers aging and a lot of people place him as a top 3-5 talent in the playoffs… and yet year after year they just skate by with zero expectations. Lose to the clusterfuck Bulls team? “Lol, who cares. Obvs they’ll easily beat the Celtics and Bucks in the playoffs even though either have happened one time in the last three years”

I think pressure is off of them because of the Jaquez pick. Butler could realistically slide into more of a super Iguodala role and they’re still going to be able to contend since they have another allstar on the way.

lmao cutting it at three years to not include the other year where they beat them both.

bringing up the regular season is pointless, they absolutely have high expectations in the playoffs. if healthy, i don’t think either the celtics or bucks look unbeatable and from what the heat have shown, they absolutely should be able to match up well if healthy. but the regular season heat are gonna blow leads with jimmy coasting for 35% of the season and then somehow when the playoffs come he’s averaging 30 and the heat are the clutchest team in the league.
