Just found this funky montres Allison at a thrift store for 7$ I’m all over cheap and quirky watches so exciting find, quick google search reveals interesting history behind this brand but seems they’ve moved to higher end tourbillon movements/cases. Seems like earlier models were cheap “Frankenstein” builds with various cheap parts. Any info on it’s appreciated, don’t care what it’s worth but if anyone knows what movements inside/where it was made it would be much appreciated!

I remember when that dude was trying to pass off his watches as high end made in USA. He was so full of crap!

Haha that’s the history I was curious about! How he switched his business to what it is today is beyond me. Wish there was more info online. Happy cake day!

Yup! Boy this brought back memories. 20 years ago we used to roast this stuff for being ugly, poorly-made ripoffs. I had completely forgotten about that name.
