He has been having an excellent season. Obviously, Jokic is the better player and continues to put up better statistical performances. However, I’m a big fan of Shai and would love to see him win.

    he is the highest rated player by epm, elite on both ends. a rookie is his second best player. if the thunder are the 1 seed, hes my vote for mvp

    Top three seed and he should be a favorite to win it but judges might want to see some playoff success first before they give it to him. However if he leads the league in a lot of statistical categories that might be enough.

    It sounds fucked up but if Giddey goes out for “that”, and they can get a top 3 record. him getting the ball in his hands more and handling more playmaking could give him both the narrative boost and statistics for assist. But it would take a media circus for the organization and him to be able to steady the ship on the court.

    Same thing every other player in the NBA has to do. Play better than pretty much everyone while leading his team to playoffs. Then he must accrue enough votes to win MVP. Thanks for your question
