God dammit, you could tell legs got tired and without Zion minutes we got to stagnant especially with some wonky and bad offensive groupings

GG Utah you capitalized when we couldn’t and hit the shots needed to win

He’s good defensively but his offense is one of the worst in the league. It’s so bad that he is unplayable in a lot of moments, especially down the stretch. He made bad play after bad play offensively last night and single-handedly lost them the game.

He’s a nice prospect but just can’t hang with other nba players. Playing 4 on 5 will hurt the pels

It feels like the Pelicans do everything right in building a team except for the actual “having a great W-L record” part lol

Yup, have centre who can stretch the floor, a superstar who can’t be stopped from getting to the rim, another superstar who can hit tough contested jumpers, 2 wings that guard and shoot well, another guard that make shots still can’t get a better record than the freaking Lakers who are building teams with freaking castaways ever since that AD trade

May 2022: “We do not need Zion”

December 2022: “We do not need BI”

Past 6 games: “We do not need CJ, he will make us worse.”

Turns out, we fucking need our players because we aren’t a consistent enough and offensively talented team to afford losing players like that. Props to the Jazz for pulling it off without their two best players also.

I’m glad our front office does not listen to their fanbase. These sentiments do not reflect the entire population’s view, but I see it enough to call it out.

What you talking about, Colin Sexton played.

Collin making so many key plays down the stretch. Penetrating and finding teammates like Kessler, Fontecchio, and George in the 4th Quarter and scoring from all parts of the floor. The floater was with about a minute to go was questionable, but really good decision-making by him in the second half.

This loss is on Willie Green. Turns out, You Gotta Fight speech wouldn’t work all the time if that’s all you got.
