I’ve been doing more landscapes on medium format and really need to start using a tripod more. I have an older Mefoto I think. Its ok I guess, but I’ve always hated carrying a tripod anywhere anyways. I don’t love the twist lock legs. Its bulky and heavy, so I just wind up leaving it at home. I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions for something that is relatively light and quick to setup.

I have a Manfrotto Compact Action tripod with a pistol grip that works well with smaller lenses.

The Manfrotto BeFree is excellent, but with a large head.

I have a Joby Advanced Compact that I was NOT impressed with at all… Stay away.

I use the Ulanzi Zero Y tripod. Pretty good, compact, and light. Far cheaper and superior to the PD tripod. Might not carry long lens well though. Depends on your setup.
