Every US commentator is pronouncing it as Christian Brown and they shouldn’t be because last time I checked there’s no A or U in the word Brown. It should be pronounced like the word brawn (as in physical strength). I’ve been to school with kids with same surname and they definitely didn’t pronounce it Brown. What’s the story here?

Should they be? Obviously it isn’t against the law, but for the sake of being able to communicate with one another as easily as possible we shouldn’t have to teach every single person we meet how to pronounce our names. It’s ridiculous.
