Every US commentator is pronouncing it as Christian Brown and they shouldn’t be because last time I checked there’s no A or U in the word Brown. It should be pronounced like the word brawn (as in physical strength). I’ve been to school with kids with same surname and they definitely didn’t pronounce it Brown. What’s the story here?
Brown. It’s literally the German way of saying the colour as well.
On a side note, I’m surprised no non-Balkan commentator other than Spero Dedes is able to pronounce either Nikola or Jokić properly. And the weirdest part is, they come way closer to the intended pronunciation with Nikola Vučević’s name. For some reason, they pronounce Nikola differently for these two even though it’s the same name.
