This is inspired by the account on instagram that posts videos about the greatest players in oddly specific situations. Instead of discussing the general greats of the game, who are some players that were elite in strangely particular situations.
Some examples are Jimmy Butler in the playoffs, Shaun Livingston taking a middy, TJ Warren in the bubble, anyone being defended by PG for a game winner etc.
I remember some average overseas player always matching up well against Durant. For the life of me, I can’t remember who it was. I want to say ilyasova but I could be wrong.
