The Kings have lost 2 games to each of the Warriors, Rockets, and Pelicans. Every other team in the league has lost to 4+ teams, including the Timberwolves and Celtics with only 4 losses.

Thought this was an interesting stat.

It’s just crazy that after Tuesday we will have played the warriors 10 times in the last 25 games. Familiarity breeds contempt…

The Warriors had a pretty similar situation as well. They lost 2 games each to the Suns, Wolves, Thunder, and Cavs. They also lost to the Nuggets once but that was all 9 off their loses to 5 teams.

If anything it shows that the Kings are definitely worse than those teams that beat them. It’s one thing to lose to a team that got hot or did something that the coaches weren’t prepared for. It’s another thing to have experience with a team, and then have them prove that they are better than you by beating you again

So then does this mean that if the kings beat the wolves again, they are also worse than the warriors, pelicans, and rockets?

No. That means the Kings are better than the Wolves. This isn’t your rpg games it’s not a flat level, different matchups mean different teams are better than different teams

If Kings beat the Wolves again, that means Kings are better than the Wolves due to the matchup. Just like Kings are worse than the Rockets, Pelicans, and Warriors due to matchup. Why would you possibly think this stat is a good stat for the Kings?

I don’t. It’s a meaningless stat. I just think it’s dumb to draw such big conclusions from losing to a team twice. Especially when we were missing deaaron fox in 3 of those losses. Btw - go wolves. I’m from MN originally and they’re my second team.
