Say Nikon Z 24-70 f 2.8. It has a lens element near the mount which moves as we zoom. This means, air will be pumped into the camera. How will the air exit?

Air can move internally in a lens. Moving the lens doesnt change the air volume inside the lens, as it was already in there. With that said lenses arent air tight.
