Passing at the level of being able to run an NBA offense at a high level isn’t something that can be developed from scratch. There’s a point where it’s just not happening and I’m afraid to say Sochan at PG is really trending towards that case.

Sochan isn’t a PG in the long term and was never intended to, they are doing it to develop his secondary passing skills, when the Spurs will eventually draft a PG he will come back at his role but with improved passing skills and feeling of the game.

I understand this is what they’re doing and I support it long term. But, man is it hard to watch how terrible Spurs are this season. Especially knowing they could play better if they give up on the experimental lineups.

I have faith it’ll all be worth it. You kind of have to at this point since it’s clear Spurs are committed to this strategy.

I don’t care about the loss or the shitty foul calls. I loved what I saw from the young guys. The play wasn’t even particularly good for the most part, but you can see them learning in real time. Sharpe, Scoot, Camara, and Jabari are making strides, night after night. It doesn’t show up in the box score yet, but I am confident it will in time.

Just a messy first half from the Bucks but I like that Griffin is emptying the bench trying to find guys who can play. Green, and Ajax getting minutes with starters on the floor is a good sign and something we rarely saw from Bud.

Crazy comeback but scoot shooting form looked way better. Wondering how he will be once he gets the starting spot back

Scoot was on a fast break where Giannis was doing his “I just turned the ball over so I’m going to hunt this block” run and yet Scoot was fast enough to beat him to the rim and he did a really nice athletic finish. I think Giannis was surprised he didn’t catch him. He didn’t look comfortable in the half court though but obviously it’s incredibly early.

This team does show flashes of something but I just don’t think they have enough experience to be able to close games out or not fall apart in the 4th yet. It’s sort of to be expected given that they’re a tanking team with a lot of young guys though
