And the Nuggets should be lower. I know they’ll be fine once Murray is healthy and are still the team to beat, but they’re only 3-5 in their last 8 games, with the 3 wins coming against the lowly Pistons, Clippers and Spurs. Seems like a slide like that should drop you lower than 4th (which is where they apparently were a week ago). The Thunder and Magic (who beat Denver this week) at the very least should have leapfrogged them for now.

Agreed… It seems like they’re ranking the Nuggets on “if they were fully healthy” but not the Suns.

Like yeah, with Murray they are an amazing team… they clearly aren’t a top team without him. Just like the Suns are a mid team with just 1 of their 3 stars.

Right. If these rankings are just supposed to be a reflection of the projected rank of every team at the end if we assume they’re all fully healthy, then the rankings wouldn’t really change from one week to the next, and would be pretty different than what we’re seeing here. Like I said, fully healthy, Denver is likely still the favorites this year, but they’ve lost a lot of games lately and it seems like that should show up in these types of weekly rankings.
