Let’s say Lebron retired today how would the Goat debate end. I believe the majority have Mj as the Goat but there will always be people who have Lebron as the Goat so how will people move on or how will the media. ( I believe more in Goat of their Era but I just wanna know how the toxicity will end.)

Honestly I feel like the average fan still thinks of MJ as 1 and LeBron as 2

It’s closer than it was but it’s still like a 65/35 split IMO

maybe one day when someone wins like 10 titles, 10 mvps, 10 fmvps, and is the all time leader in scoring, assist, and rebound.

It’s def MJ by a big margin for the majority of ppl. Most Lebron fans will prob eventually accept being 2nd while there will always be a vocal minority stans claiming GOAT status, kinda like Kobe stans still

This is my point about the Goat debate it just leads to diminishing a persons achievements, straight up just slander that the average person believes when really and truly most points can be easily argued against.
