I am 20 years old and my business has tanked.
I have $300 left to my name and I need to start cash flowing as fast as humanly possible.
My plan is to get back into sales cash flow 5-10k per month then roll that money into entrepreneurial ventures
I have two years of sales experience -Tech SDR -logistics AE -selling my own offer (small business SAAS)
My question is: What type of sales should I pursue
- Tech sales
- Commission only High ticket closing for personal brand offers (coaching, courses, etc)
I really dislike the corporate space but I know I could land a pretty high paying tech sales job fast with my resume.
High ticket sales is what I really want to do but the barrier to entry is much greater. It’s all about who you know, networking and would take time that I don’t have
What should I do. By this time next month I NEED to be making 5k minimum per month
Go buy a power, washer and canvas neighborhoods asking if they want you to clean off their dirty driveway or whatever pathway, etc. You could even start landscaping with a cheap lawnmower and cheap weed trimmer
Unpopular take but the absolute most reliable way to accrue wealth is:
- Get a job
- Spend less than you make
I would definitely try to explore a startup tech sales space although I’ve been hearing of a lot of lay offs. Is there any way you can utilize your skillset and try to start a fast cash-flowing service business?
5k by next munph lmao
Just take on a bounty High risk high reward
What’s your business? Also; if you’re interested you can work for me. High ticket sales for a consultancy firm. Let me know if you’re interested.
Go to www.sakeenajacobs.com and there you will find a digital Marketing package that you can make $50 per sale. Check it out.
You got more than I got and my only plan was to write a book lmfao. Just do whatever floats your goat. Life gives us what we need.
I’ve never understood these targets: “I need to hit X by time Y”. They never take into account the system you are working with, the actual harmony of the methodology you use and your genuine happiness in the process.
What if you don’t hit that target? Will the world end, or will your ego collapse? You don’t have money, go get a job. There is no shame in working, the economy is driven by it, we all survive due to people working. When I had 100$ in my pocket, I went to work for restaurants, and I was 22 at that time.
Consider going back to school or taking an entry level position while going to school to actually learn about what you’re selling.
People who just go 100% sales and have no idea what they’re actually selling are insufferable to work with.
Did you go to school? Go get a badass degree so that you can make a lot of money and get expertise in a cool field (ideally something STEM/Tech) … master the field, save your money… then either start a company or go be a badass sales guy for a product in a field that you 100% know in and out and 100% advocate for. You’re 20, you’re still extremely young. Get the degree and get some complexity/knowledge/skill under your belt.
Peace!
If you have the experience to land those jobs I’d start applying like crazy and do instacart while you wait to build funds back up
Start couch flipping. I make 8k a month flipping part time
My plan is to get back into sales cash flow 5-10k per month then roll that money into entrepreneurial ventures
Well there’s your first problem, you’re delusional.
You were doing good a few months ago, what happened?
Not that experienced with business, but I would recommend that you should get a stable job with income that is coming in reliably. Create courses on your knowledge and promote it as much as you can on sites where people actively look for certain skills such as Udemy, skillshare, etc. Then I would say have a side hustle service-based business that works around your job schedule and has a low start up and makes decent money. If you already have a car, this may not be the best option because of gas prices, but Uber is something that you can work throughout the night because there are workers that need transportation during these times. I’m getting into window cleaning because the start up isn’t too bad either. That way you have 3 different streams of income that can be made with 1 being a stream one where you don’t have to be there physically. When you need it, money will come if you work hard.
