First off, I believe in Chet. He’s going to be a perennial all-star and will likely win DPOY at some point

But I personally think Şengün will have the better career. He’s far more likely to age better than Chet and his style as a play making big is valuable to any team

They’re both 21 - so there’s still plenty of basketball to see. Thoughts?

That’s the point of the post , to predict. Funnily enough the question only makes sense if we don’t know , if we knew , it would be ridiculous.

No disrespect to sengun I was pissed when we traded him draft night, however seeing everything play out I think it was best for both. It let him be greater than he could’ve been in okc as a back up. But let’s remember this is his 3rd season compared to Chet’s 16 games in the nba. Yes he was with the team but dude was in a boot basically the whole season.

As a Rockets fan, I was hoping for a Chet + Sengun pairing. These 2 could definitely compliment each other.

would he have been a backup for you guys? i thought you had a really bad c rotation before this year. if you mean this year specifically, i get that, but even then i could see them being a better, better fitting version of the old sabonis/turner frontcourt

Idk, but Chet has been the second best player on a top 2 team in his conference so I’d go with him

What’s the point of these questions? Are you going to come back 15-18 years later and read the comments to Pat yourself in the back?

I hope they both have great careers & based off what I’ve seen so far, they will.

Who cares? Why is this sub so obsessed with defining legacies and ranking players? Hopefully they are both great.

I’m going with Chet, cause I think he might be more versatile and better suited to not being a first option, plus he was instantly good in the NBA, which is tough to do. But both should be excellent.
