I think we acknowledge how diverse the South park fanbase is in question of age, and I notice how the younger fans of the show (me included) detest Tegridy Randy while the older fans seem to like and relate to him and his attitude.
Me personally, I dislike him and I’m a younger fan with asshole parents lol. I want to hear all opinions of all age groups.
Mid 30s here. I overlook the times he’s a bad, selfish father for the sake of comedy; he’s always hilarious and usually relatable, just to an exaggerated extent. As opposed to Butters’ parents who are just horrible, despite him being the sweetest kid ever, do you know what I am saying?
I liked seeing Randy’s character develop over the years and become more of a main character, and I’m cool with the Tegridy Farms thing.
With that said, the Lorde thing never really landed for me, it was funny, but I don’t think I fully got it.
