Maybe this is a dumb question, but in cases like this is there precedent for whomever has the ball to throw it out of bounds then the opposing team passes inbounds it back to them once play resume? I know it’s super common in soccer because there aren’t as many play stoppages and no timeouts (which Finch should have used immediately).
