Talking with my partner (she was good enough to play in college) and her thought was that my idea would basically kill the midrange jumper, but tbh, I’m fine with that.
Anyway, my idea for the 4 point arc isn’t to create a second arc but to use the current 3 point line and have those shots score 4, while awarding 3 to shots in the paint and 2 to everything else in the perimeter. This is less about me wanting to gear offenses even more to being reliant on shooting 3’s (4’s), but more about encouraging more scoring in the paint.
Any thoughts?
Every time I think the dumbest post here has ever been made, someone like you seems to take that as a personal challenge to out do it.
