yes, this appears to be the latest trend.

Mets owner is trying to build a casino next to Citi Field/the proposed NYCFC stadium, PGA Tour’s DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale, Grand Sierra Resort’s new arena for Nevada Men’s Basketball, (feels like Vegas pro teams deserve a mention surrounding this topic)

Vegas is gonna get a team tho. League only floated Mexico city and Nashville to drive up the expansion fees for Seattle and Vegas. When the league expands, those are the two cities getting teams.

Seattle absolutely deserves to get an nba team back, they should’ve never lost the sonics in the first place.

Vegas, not deserving, but it all comes down to $$$, so they will be getting a team.

He’s been very vocal about wanting to do it with Sands specifically, now the Sands owners own a majority of the Mavs. You decide if it’s real.

“My goal, and we’d partner with Las Vegas Sands, is when we build a new arena it’ll be in the middle of a resort and casino,” Cuban told The News. “That’s the mission.”

fun fact, Las Vegas Sands doesn’t even have a property in Vegas anymore. Just Macau and Singapore

I see a lot of mention about a new stadium/casino/resort but have they said where in DFW it would be built?

No because they still have to bribe the politicians to even make it legal first. And they are locked into AAC til '31 They started on that, but Cuban ain’t rich or powerful enough on his own.
