LIST

  1. Jokic (Serbia)

  2. Giannis ( Greece)

  3. Luka ( Slovenia)

  4. Embiid (Cameroon/France)
(He is also American now, can we still consider him international? Or he is considered American cause his basketball development came from USA?)

  5. SGA (Canada)

I think this is most people’s Top 5 International Current Nba players now. Do you agree?

How about 6-10?

We have the likes of

Murray, Lauri, Gobert, Wagner, Sengun, Wemby, Sabonis, Wiggins, etc fighting for those spots.

Who are your top 5/10 International Players right now?

Will physical prowess ever come into play in these lists?

For example if a freak of nature center (too tall, too strong, too fast, just built better ) is putting up similar numbers with jokic, do we lean towards jokic cause he is using skills and basketball iq to perform, or do we just follow the numbers.

These lists are (or should be) based off pure basketball performance and effectiveness. If someone really has a big size or athletic advantage, it will be reflected in them just being better at basketball and putting up better numbers. You don’t get bonus points for being stronger or taller for no reason. If there was a player that was somehow determined to be exactly as effective on the basketball court as Jokic but was doing it through sheer physicality rather than skill, then they’d just be tied. But obviously that’s a hypothetical since there is no objective way to determine a players effectiveness.
