Im starting to watch NBA, although Im from Brazil, so I didnt grow up with these culture (ex: all my family support Santos in soccer, so Im a Santos fan since I was a kid) and I need to choose a franchise to support.

So I started to search about the history and the game nowadays, and I liked both Bucks and Lakers. Then I figured out that some people say that theyre rivals (mostly for Kareem, I reckon). Now I dont know if i can like both teams.

Yeah you’re pretty much good to go besides supporting lakers celtics, bucks heat, lakers clippers, bucks celtics or something like that.

Kareem was a long time ago. Very few of today’s fans saw him play for the Bucks or resent his departure to L.A.

Unless they meet in the Finals, which I don’t think they ever have, the Bucks and Lakers only play each other twice a year, because they are in different conferences. It’s really not much of a rivalry. Of course, a lot of fans across the country hate the Lakers just because of their history of success — but a lot of other fans follow them for the same reason.

I don’t see any reason why you can’t be a fan of both teams.

You can support 30. If you decide to hop on and talk shit, just make sure to flair up with your current favorite so people can talk shit back.

You’re from Brazil. You support the Orlando magic. That’s how it is.

I’m sure people in Milwaukee hate the Lakers because everybody hates Los Angeles lol, but I assure you that no Lakers fans care if you’re also a Bucks fan. We have no rivalry with them.

The last time the Lakers and Bucks were even close to being rivals was the early ’70’s, so don’t let that stop you.
