Curious to hear peoples thoughts on this. The top 3 is typically some order of Magic, Steph and Oscar Robertson at the PG position.

This leaves names like CP3, Nash, Stockton etc to round out the top 5 PG of all time. Do you have CP3 in that top 5? Or just out side of it?

    I think Chris Paul barely inches into the top 5.

    Magic Johnson, Steph Curry, Oscar Robertson, and John Stockton are the shoe-ins for me.

    I think Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Isiah Thomas, Gary Payton, Bob Cousy, Jason Kidd, Jerry West (to the extent he was a point guard) and Russell Westbrook comprise the next ‘rung.’

    I tend to value players with higher peaks versus longevity; scaleable/win-contributing and two-way games over statistical production in a vacuum; advanced stats over accolades; and recognition that the game changes. With that in mind, I’d probably put CP3 right at #5.
