    However, forcing employees back has led to walkouts and petitions against the move. It’s no surprise, given that some people say they’d rather quit or take a pay cut than return to the office.

    It’s true, I’d tell them to shove it if my company tried to force me back into the office.

    I had to work with Broadcom back when they acquired CA Technologies and I was a sysadmin for a CA system at my company. From stem to stern, that company suuuuuucks.
    I’m glad I don’t have to deal with them anymore.

    BS. Collaboration does not require people to physically occupy the same space. It does require communication though, which happens quite easily thanks to the internet.

    This is just an excuse to get rid of people or to fill empty offices to appease money hungry property owners.

      If physical contact was necessary for collaboration, then nearly every foss project would fail.
