A show about a intergalactic federation of planets hosting different species of beings shouldn’t be… political? That’s precisely the only thing it has to be.
Since it’s a series; sometimes it’s a romance, action, mystery, suspense, thriller, and even comedy. All of which could be argued for or against, but to say it shouldn’t be political is like asking it to ease-up on the science-fiction. How?!
The only ones wanting that are those whose preferred political views get routinely destroyed by the show (and common sense). I don’t know why anyone gives those idiots the time of day.
