I owned Sync for reddit on 3 different accounts and have paid for ad free on Sync for Lemmy. You’ve made an amazing app that really just ticks all my boxes.

Would you consider taking the ability to tag out of the subscription plan? My UI is incredibly simple and tags really help me to recognize people who have seemed fake, been antagonistic, etc.

I could just block these people, but I use blocking as an absolute last option because every opinion has value, regardless if it aligns with mine. So unless they are outright hostile or I have enough reason to think they’re a bot, I don’t want to block, but I do want to remember who’s who.

I wouldn’t really benefit from any other subscription features, and I can’t justify a monthly fee just for tags.

Hope you consider it!

That’s very noble of you, I block people just for having an anime avatar.

Oh wow, he locked tags behind a paywall? Damn, that’s not how it was for SfR. Just put the tag syncing behind the paywall, ljd, no need to completely take away a previously free feature!

Just out curiousity, what would be the replacement for Ultra uses current and in the future (so it needs to be attractive) and how long will it take you to code it?

Jesus, just block them. You’re not preventing them from having an opinion just because you block them.

I don’t want to block them? Has nothing to do with their feelings.

The day I can’t handle opposing opinions will be the day I leave the internet.
