Long stretches of sunny weather don’t come often during the winter in western Washington. While the January sunshine is great for being outdoors, we don’t want
The PNW doesn’t really build artificial human-made drinking water reservoirs in most places. The typical water system depends on mountain snow slowly melting and sending water downhill where it flows into rivers and is sent through hydro turbines, irrigates crops and is tapped for drinking water. But the reservoir for summer water (when it doesn’t rain) is natural mountain snow melting.
Not looking good for anyone who relies on snowpack for drinking/cleaning water, that’s for sure.
Also, the fires will be worse.

Also, wells are going dry in the pnw in summer.
