The Meaning of Mass Effect: A Cursory Look at the Themes of the Mass Effect Trilogy
It’s been six years since the final installment of the Mass Effect trilogy
first touched the public sphere. It’s fitting, then, that now of all times I
feel the need to talk about it.
A great read indeed. It gave me a new perspective not only on the ending, but on the trilogy as a whole. I won’t be able to unsee it in future playthroughs. Thank you for sharing! :)
i am replaying the trilogy right now. i (almost) always choose the synthesis ending, because it is congruous (much like this article suggests) with the themes of mass effect. at the same time, the indoctrination theory suggests that the synthesis ending is similar to what saren is suggesting at the end of ME1.
it’s an interesting read. especially compared to the indoctrination theory (which i’ve also read about today)
what do y’all think?

That was really good. Thanks for posting. It changed how I felt about the games. Maybe time for another play through.

Yes no matter what I read I can’t get the thought out of my mind that Green = Saren and Blue = TIM. Red = Anderson and I’m ride or die.
