A day we expected to come but now Riot Games have formally announced that their Vanguard kernel-level anti-cheat is coming to League of Legends, and so it will make it unplayable on Linux.
How is that a win? I, among many other people, am now forced to use windows to play my favorite game. I am not going to stop playing so the only choice is to stop using Linux.
@Chadus_Maximus@_Sprite Personally I go the opposite way… If a game stops working on Linux, I stop playing it… There are too many enjoyable games in the world to stick to just one 😅

League players are such a special breed. “I don’t enjoy this game but I refuse to stop playing and will willingly switch to an entirely different operating system so I can continue to not have fun.”

Pretty sure it was a joke cause league bad haha. I stopped playing when it stopped working on my system. I hate myself but not enough to install windows just to play league
