With just days until Iowa hosts the first nominating contests — expected to be the coldest in history — a winter storm is serving as the backdrop to a fight that is heating up.

In the past, I’ve generally favored birddogging over disruption, but the DeSantis campaign is pretty much assured of a loss at this point, so it has relatively little value.
