I can manage it occasionally, in certain contexts. I used to be way better at it but a while back I had ye olde autistic burn out episode and then that put a stop to a lot of things.

I don’t spend much energy on masking these days; it’s so harmful in so many ways. Getting along with the normies isn’t really worth it.

It’s from an AI video that many people try to pass as real to get views, best I can tell from a reverse search on the image.

While I liked that movie a lot and was impressed by the efforts they went through to make it, it is impossible to deny that it would have been even more interesting with this post providing the main character.

Honestly I no idea. I mean historically BAD, being largly mute during my highschool years.

After learning to speak to people, and getting help with my social anxiety, I have asked people close to me if I am noticably autistic and they said no. I worry a lot that now I have a social life, a lot of what I have learned is actually learning how to mask

My guess? Not very good, though like draws to like, and with some reflection, I’m pretty sure most of my bubble of people have been at a minimum spectrum adjacent or other types of ND.
