Hey, whats your photography setup? I’ve been thinking of getting into the hobby but I have no baseline whatsoever. Except for watching a handful of youtube videos if that counts as a baseline
Ebay or second hand shops are a pretty good entry point. You can get a decent camera and lens for ~$100-200.
I’ma pretty simple photographer. I prefer one camera and a prime lens. I chose Fujifilm for the smaller and lighter approach compared to full frame. I also don’t pay full frame prices as a hobbyist.
If you’re just starting out I recommend keeping it simple. YouTube can lead you down a great acquisition rabbit hole.
