    It’s been interesting to watch go by as someone without a horse in the race. I’ve never had any interest in GTA games.

      I loved GTA games, but didn’t play GTA V. That was the one that kinda killed it for me. I saw my friends play it, but the online stuff seemed to be the only thing they played. I used to be endlessly entertained with just the game and myself playing… idk, it just didn’t seem as fun to “compete” on a game that, for me, was about trying to best yourself or a couch buddy (or just try some dumb shit, because why not). That was the end of GTA for me

      I’ve never enjoyed them as whole properties, but as vehicles for dialogue, they’re excellent. However, God of war did it far closer to my tastes as I actually enjoy the soulslike gameplay loop, where I do not enjoy early 2000s shooters given new paint. Pithy dialogue between boy, beard, and head was most enjoyable
