Well the question that remains is how much will this Iran war break the oil economy. I think the time will come when people will be forced to take alternative commutes. That’s how big of a disaster is present on the horizon.
Or maybe I’m just wishing we have a complete fuel shortage to enjoy car free living for a bit?
Imagine an America where gas prices are high and physical shortages are common. That’s the future I’m envisioning. I understand alternatives aren’t present, but people just biking to work is the alternative I’m envisioning.
Which weather? Usually when people say they can’t because of the weather, it’s bullshit. See the classic “people can bike to work in Finland but not Canada” NJB vid.
well, tornado seaon brings weeks of torrential thunderstorms at least twice a year, and winter brings subzero temps for months. add the fact that many people have at least a 30 min commute by car, and missing even one day of work gets you fired, and it becomes an impossble hurdle.

Alternative commutes do not exist in most of USA.

Not possible for most Americans.
Of course not, Americans are incapable of doing anything anymore 😂😂😂
