This is slightly misleading. While both shows Sailsbury Square in Hatfield, UK, it is not the same perspective.

    https://www.phipartners.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/PeteSeaward--1024x645.jpg

The parking lot was in the position of the slightly less elaborate (but still nice looking) buildings at the road. The slightly fancier buildings in the above image are not standing on the former parking lot, they are replacing an older modernist building that was torn down for that and was next to the parking lot. All in all this looks like a very nice upgrade though for the area.

That said, the new development still sees way to much parking around those new buildings.

Part of the roof looks like a texture misaligned with the quadrilateral edges. Or maybe it’s just some kind of moiré in the photo.

Either way, it’s an odd architectural choice to so closely match the roof to the wall.

Ya I tried looking on google earth but the pic of the area is from 2 yrs ago and doesn’t have the buildings there yet. https://earth.google.com/web/search/Salisbury+Square,+Hatfield,+UK/@51.76363889,-0.21392631,75.28960419a,0d,90y,179.16150191h,73.30366912t,0r/data=CiwiJgokCeTX_xCN6zNAEePX_xCN6zPAGY4aqXrTG0lAIVs9hHRShknAQgIIASIaChY2VWNFYUlJN3ZUZXhlTzNTazFsamRBEAJCAggASg0I____________ARAA

If you look at the historical imagery you can see the old car park tho so it’s the right place.

based on the church, I think the point of view is not the same on both pictures. The “after” seems a view point from the parking.

not sure why they’d add camera noise to a render? usually renders are made to be as fancy and sharp as possible with tons of happy people walking around.
