      If they have to go through all the safety tests that the US requires that other countries don’t, as well as be able to handle recalls that the US requires when a quality issue causes a safety concern, then I don’t think they’ll still cost $11,000.

        True, but even if such tests double the price, it’s still cheaper than anything else offered, what’s the lowest right now, $29K?

      Seriously! Fuck luxury vehicles. The everyday US resident needs affordable transportation to get around this private transit country.
