My reaction to this was “huh?” Jokes need to make sense in context, or else they’re just nonsensical. That is how humor works. This does not work. I’m sure OP has plenty of other good ones, but this one didn’t land. Just like the Enterprise!

Jokes need to make sense in context, or else they’re just nonsensical. That is how humor works. This does not work.
